One of the itinerary in my this Bali trip is the wild dolphin watch.... Got this inspired from someone's blog. Even though I have seen dolphins very close to me before in Monkey Mia, Perth, it still doesn't stop me from going to have a peep on them..the cute little fellow, even from far away :)
As we stayed at Tulumben (together with the divers), we woke up at 3:00am, driver picked us up at 3:30am and headed to Lovina before the sun rise.... I know, it is freaking early!:( I was so worried, the effort we woke up early will be nothing if the cute little fellows didn't even come for the party.......
We paid 80,000 baht (ard RM30 per person) to hire a boat and a local to chase the dolphins. Our "captain" more like drive the boat to the place where he suspected the dolphins might be out and start looking around. This made me more alert and tried to help him up by opening my eyes BIG enough to catch the shot of them. After close to 1 hour, there ain't any of them.. I started to panic and at the same time, because of the shaky of the little boat, I dozed off....Suddenly, I heard the "turbo" engine sound and he started speeding up to a place where all the other boats were...within 10 mins, they appeared.... swimming freely in the water, some of the drivers who were far away started to chase them. but in common sense, if someone chases after you, definitely you will run, right? same applied to dolphins, that's why our driver just stayed at around the same place, wait for them to come near us..... Luckily, there were once, they were just right in front of us... I was so excited, shouted and pointed at them.... and there were once when they jumped in front of all the tourists.... it's GREAT!
This, indeed a very good experience! a must-try when you go to Bali ;)

Sunrise at Lovina. Love it!:)

see all the little boats? these are how many of them watching the dolphins!

:)

Yeah! this is our little boat which brought us to watch wild dolphins!

After the wild dolphin watch, the local brought us to the site nearby and check out the coral. The water is so clear that we could even see the corals right from our boat! Check it out!
